We are not a party to offline transactions, employment agreements, merchant contracts, delivery arrangements, payments or disputes between users.

Unless we expressly say otherwise in writing, DiliGo is not a seller, buyer, employer, recruiter, broker, escrow provider, payment processor, importer, exporter, insurer or certification authority.

2. Accounts and login

2.1 Account responsibility

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login access secure.

2.2 Third-party login

You may sign in with enabled providers, including Google and Facebook when available. Third-party login providers may apply their own terms and privacy policies.

2.3 Account restrictions

We may suspend, restrict or remove accounts that appear to be abusive, fraudulent, unsafe or in violation of these terms.

3. User content

3.1 Your responsibility

You are responsible for content you submit. Content must be accurate, lawful and respectful. You must have permission to post images, contact details, business information, prices and job details.

3.2 Content license

By submitting content, you give DiliGo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, format, translate, moderate, promote and distribute that content as needed to operate and improve the service. You keep ownership of content you lawfully own.

3.3 Moderation

We may review, hide, remove or restrict content that appears unsafe, misleading, abusive, illegal, spam-like or otherwise inconsistent with the service.

4. Originality and rights

You must not submit content copied from another person, business, website, platform, directory or data source unless you have the right to do so.

You are responsible for making sure text, images, logos, prices, job details, business descriptions and contact information are original, authorized, publicly shareable or otherwise lawful for you to post. We may remove, rewrite, restrict or refuse content that appears duplicated, scraped, misleading, infringing or submitted without permission.

5. Listings, jobs and transactions

5.1 User verification

Users should verify prices, identity, location, salary, contract terms, product condition, safety details and business authority before making decisions.

5.2 Contact details

Private contact details must not be scraped, resold, redistributed or used for unsolicited marketing.

5.3 Local commerce

If you use the service to advertise goods, services or jobs in Timor-Leste, you are responsible for complying with applicable consumer, employment, tax, advertising, licensing and electronic-commerce obligations.

5.4 Jobs and employment posts

Employers, recruiters and job posters are responsible for job accuracy, hiring authority, non-discrimination, working conditions, pay, permits and compliance with applicable labour and workplace-safety rules. Posting a job on DiliGo does not make us the employer, recruiter or employment agent.

5.5 Electronic commerce and signatures

Users who form contracts or accept offers electronically are responsible for keeping their own records and complying with applicable e-commerce, electronic-signature and consumer-information requirements. DiliGo does not provide certified electronic signatures, payment settlement, escrow or contract-enforcement services.

6. No guarantees

Content on DiliGo may be user-submitted, imported, delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, translated or changed after publication. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, legality, quality, safety or suitability of listings, merchants, jobs, posts, reviews, comments, translations or contact details.

7. Prohibited use

  • Uploading malicious content or attempting to disrupt the service.
  • Using the service in a way that violates applicable laws or third-party rights.

8. Automated access and indexing

Search engines and large language model crawlers may index publicly available pages when they follow our robots rules and identify themselves honestly.

Automated access is not allowed for private areas, account pages, messages, admin tools, forms, APIs, private contact details, bulk extraction of contact details, security-sensitive routes or any activity that bypasses rate limits, login, privacy controls or normal product flows.

We may block, throttle, challenge or take other action against scraping, bulk collection, spam automation, reverse engineering, credential abuse or crawling that harms the service or users.

9. Timor-Leste operation

DiliGo is intended for local discovery in Dili, Timor-Leste. Users who publish merchant, job or community information are responsible for making sure their posts are lawful, accurate and authorized in the place where they operate.

We may remove content that appears to expose sensitive personal data, create local safety risks, misrepresent a business, advertise illegal goods or services, or conflict with local platform operation.

10. Disputes and applicable rules

User-to-user disputes should be resolved directly between the buyer, seller, merchant, employer, applicant or other relevant parties. Reports sent to DiliGo help us review platform content, but they do not make us responsible for the underlying transaction, job, product, service or offline meeting.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, disputes with DiliGo about the operation of the service are governed by the laws applicable in Timor-Leste and should be handled by the competent authorities or courts in Dili, unless mandatory consumer or user-protection rules require another forum.
